Our Wedding

Suppliers – Flower studio Rosa on the Nepean Highway at Seaford, created a absolutely stunning bouquet. Nothing was too much trouble- they really cared that the flowers were absolutely perfect. “As an art teacher I wanted flowers that had dynamic colour and good contrast, harmonious and beautiful. I am extremely happy with studio Rosa’s wedding Flowers.” Said Pam.

 

Wedding Makeup- Amanda Forsyth .Although Pamale found Amanda on internet she was very pleasantly surprised that Amanda lived very close to her. The two women  really connected over the look that Pamela wanted for her day, and together they devised a make-up scheme that was right for Pamela. Amanda Forsyth offered Pamela skillful natural make up, creating the lyrical romantic look that Pamela had dreamt of. Her skill with a make-up kit is not surprising considering that she is not  only a consumate professional but also teaches make up. 

 

Catering – John from the Peninsula Pantry Cafe in rye concocted a spectacular seafood Paella in front of the gifts. This was served with delicious gourmet salads and rotisseried scotch beef. Pam and Michael had enjoyed the food at the Peninsula pantry cafe on many occasion and was absolutely delighted with their fantastic service.

Wedding Cake by Mignon Cake Face in Abbotsford . “Our marvelous chocolate cake was so delicious that we could hardly contain our selves after the wedding . Underneath the chocolate icing there was a thick layer of chocolate and carmel ganache . Nothing was too much trouble for Mignon who invents incredible creative cakes . Pam explains Mignon’s commitment to each cake. “She took some aspects of our year away and  drawing on time we spent in the Daintree rain-forest as inspiration helped is design a fun tree leaf design for the cake.

 

Reception – Pam and Michael celebrated with a vibrant crowd of friends in the extensive grounds of the Pam’s father’s Mount Eliza home. The guest included an eclectic mix of artists, musicians and teachers, reflecting Michael’s and Pam’s wide ranging professional and social interests.

 

Ceremony – Celebrant Peta Finn from Frankston created a very personal and moving ceremony . Pam comments that “Peta is such a lovely person, warm and very calming and utilizes many personal aspects in the ceremony.”

 

Wedding dress- Pamela found her Titanic-era vintage inspired wedding dress from Nataya, a Russian designer featured on vintage website clothing.com. She loves its simplicity and romantic feel. The dress has just the right amount of detail,” says Pam.

 

Wedding Jewelry  – Pamela’s wedding jewelry is from Chameleon design in New South Wales. who created her bridal ear-rings and bracelet. Pamela wore a treasured heirloom necklace from her grandmother. 

 

Men’s Wedding suit – Michael Franzi found his suit at Spurling Formal. He was impressed by their very wide range of suits and formal wear, knowledgeable staff and consistent service.
